Day at the zoo

This weekend the weather in Manhattan was great so we decided to visit the zoo. And believe it or not, for a college town with a population of only 50,000, the zoo was actually really cool.Anderson enjoyed all of it but his favorite part was the goats. Here, he waits patiently as one of the goats comes over to visit us.The goat was not shy at all and immediately leaned over and began licking us both, causing Anderson to giggly uncontrollably. Each time the stroller stopped this was the look he had as he searched the area to see what kind of animal was in there. He had a great time seeing animals in person that he's only seen in his books.I think this weird looking pig was my favorite. After sliding down the slide with Shelly it was time to go back home. When we got home we followed the example of these monkeys and took a nice family nap.
