I must admit it's a little bittersweet as we really loved that house. It was the first house I ever owned and we have tons of great memories there. With four bedrooms, three bathrooms and lots of space it has accommodated many visits by family and friends. I bought the house in August 2004 so it's almost unheard of for a military officer to get to spend that long in one place. We also renovated it inside and out so it has always had our personal touch to it.

We love the area we live in here but still plan to return to Kansas City at some point. We're currently reviewing possible locations for us after we finish our time here (about 2 years from now) and Kansas City is a high possibility.
I'll close with a couple of the first pictures we took of Anderson in the KC house when we brought him home from the hospital. This was taken when we first got home and placed him in his bassinet.

Just so you know, Matt and I this ENTIRE time thought you were renting in Manhattan! Can I blame it on the baby???
