Hope everyone enjoyed ringing in 2009! Since I stayed up all night the previous night at Fort Riley it was a struggle for me to make it to midnight. But I did, just barely. We enjoyed a nice dinner by the fireplace at Trezo Mare then returned home and watched some of the New Years Eve shows and watched the ball drop on Times Square. And besides a brief wake up snack for Anderson around 5AM we all slept until 10AM! We usually get up before 7 each day of the week so that was a pleasant surprise. These two pictures were taken last night at dinner.
Below are some of the pictures taken during our week visiting each of our families. We had a great time and it was nice to spend about 4 days with each of them.
This was at Shelly's parents house by their beautiful Christmas tree on Christmas Eve before going to church.
Just me and the kids.
Anderson and cousin Zoe.
Many people say Anderson looks like Shelly's dad, Ronnie.
Ronnie had him laughing on Christmas day.
Doing what boys love to do after a big lunch.
At my mom and dad's house, Daphne got a new blanket with her name on it.
And Anderson got lots of nice toys and clothes.
Then they both decided they needed a nap after we all opened our presents.
Hope everyone enjoyed the holidays as much as we did. Happy New Year!
